As Firecreek closes their doors on June 17th, construction begins the next day on a new hot-spot called Stella Rossa Ristorante. This is another fabulous creation by Dave Magrogan. He has successfully opened three chains, Doc Magrogans, Kildares and Harvest. Stella Rossa will be featuring a selection of yummy Italian favorites at affordable prices. The inside of the building is getting an overhaul and will become an intimate, Italian-style retreat with classic, vintage booths and beautiful lighting.
Below is a sneak peak of their menu, which has not been finalized yet, but we wanted to show you what you can expect in regards to the menu items and more importantly, the pricing. The menu prices is something that we were very excited about as Stella Rossa will not only be the perfect date-night location, but also somewhere you can bring the entire family and not break the bank!
Much like Harvest, Magrogan’s Stella Rossa will be taping into the farmers, fishermen and artisan purveyors to provide the freshest of ingredients for all of the patrons who dine. He says, “By working with local farmers, Stella Rossa will utilize the freshest products available. Guests will enjoy a true Italian experience featuring inventive pasta dishes, house made mozzarella, innovative salads and seasonally changing wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, entrees and appetizers.”
What will be featured on the menu? You can expect delicious modern and traditional dishes which will be prepared with locally sourced, fresh ingredients. An assortment of artisan cheese, charcuterie and olive program will be sourced by Philadelphia’s beloved Di Bruno Brothers, and the bar will feature an extensive collection of Italian wines, international craft beers and specialty cocktails.
